Circuit Protection Reliability for Critical Power Applications
Circuit breaker reliability is the key to critical power success. Masterpact® NW and NT circuit breakers are the most reliable two-step stored energy CBs on the market. Both offer short-time withstand ratings up to 100,000 A and interrupting ratings up to 200,000 A without fuses to avoid unnecessary outages and ensure continuity of service.
Our Circuit Breakers are used by many UPS, Generator, and Paralleling equipment manufacturers as part of their standard designs. Masterpact NT and NW CBs meets the needs for the critical power market for its small size, flexible configuration, low maintenance, increased productivity and reduced downtime. Masterpact NW and NT CBs exceed all UL and ANSI endurance testing requirements. They are certified to a minimum of 10,000 operations through the 3000 A frame and 12500 operations for 800 A-1600 A frames. Both offer short-time withstand ratings up to 100,000 A and interrupting ratings up to 200,000 A without fuses to avoid unnecessary outages and ensure continuity of service. Available Arc Flash protection maximizes both Safety and reliability by not requiring fuses to limit fault energy.
The "Mission Critical Breaker" is specifically designed for use as a Main Breaker in a PDU in order to maximize system coordination with PDU branches.
