The PowerLogic EPSS Test Report provides information regarding the health and status of the emergency power supply system, including automatic transfer switches and generators. The EPSS reports serves to document proof that the EPSS is fully exercised and operational or can be used to take the necessary actions to correct system problems.
Automatic power system controls are typically implemented with EPSS reporting further automating testing with graphical interface to perform output controls from the PC to reduce physical manpower requirements and inaccuracies that typically occur with manual recording methods. Using a fully integrated Power Logic system with EPSS Reporting can help you:

The PowerLogic EPSS Test Report provides information regarding the health and status of the emergency power supply system, including automatic transfer switches and generators. The EPSS reports serves to document proof that the EPSS is fully exercised and operational or can be used to take the necessary actions to correct system problems.- Event log of status changes of ATS (normal or emergency) and Generator (running or stopped)
- Start and end times of generator test
- Amount of time that generator runs over a specified nameplate load (most cases, 30%)
- Graph of kW and kVA with percentage of power load
- Table listing minimum, average, and maximum current and voltage
- Engine data, such as oil pressure, coolant temperature, DC amp, exhaust temperature, etc.

- Gain confidence that the emergency power supply system generator and ATS tests have been performed correctly.
- Reduce documentation time with automatic data collection and reporting
- Expedite performance verification
- Eliminate inaccurate manual readings of loading levels
- Continuously monitor and receive remote alarm notification for entire power system
**Note: For hospitals, testing documentation meets EC.2.10.4.1 for acute care facilities, ambulatory surgical centers and long term care facilities required by the Joint Commission of HealthCare Organizations (JCAHO) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
