Upgrades for Masterpact M-Series Circuit Breakers
There are two very simple and cost effective solutions to upgrade all Masterpact M/MC/MP to new technology Masterpact NW/NT breakers, extending the useful life of existing asset and insure parts availability.
Two solutions are:
- “Plug and Play” solution: allows a factory modified and adapted Masterpact NW drawout breaker to be installed into an original Masterpact MP/MC/M cradle.
Note: This option only applies to M series breakers that have a continuous current rating of 3000 amp or less and the existing breaker has an interrupt rating of 65KA (up to 2000A) or 100KA(2500/3000A) or less.
- Retrofill kits: allows Masterpact NW fixed and drawout cradles to be retrofit into an existing installation of Masterpact MP/MC/M devices.
